Total Testing offers degree advisement, review materials, and college credit through exams.
What degrees can I earn?
You can earn an online Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies degree or an online Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with Daemen College. In the fall of 2021, we will also offer an online Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree and an online B.S. Education/Non-Certification Pathway, also with Daemen College.
Who grants this degree?
Degrees are granted by Daemen College Daemen College, a partner of ours for over 15 years. Daemen College is a private, nonsectarian, co-educational, comprehensive college in Amherst, New York. Daemen College has been accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education since 1956 with its institutional accreditation more recently reaffirmed in 2016.
How do I earn my degree?
With Total Testing, degree credits are earned through exams. Study at your own pace, register for tests and take them from the comfort of your own home. Students are entitled to degree advisement and up to 3 exams per month, for one low price. Upon completion of 90 credits, students will transfer to Daemen College to earn their final 30 credits.
What if I have previous college credits?
Daemen has very clear transfer credit policies and the exact number of credits that can apply toward your degree will be determined once you submit transcripts. You may be able to receive credit for examinations such as Advance Placement (AP), College Level Examination Placement (CLEP), Defense Activities Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES), the International Baccalaureate program (IB), and courses from nationally and regionally accredited colleges.
How much does Total Testing cost?
You pay an initial membership of $350, which gives you access to degree advisement, your degree plan, review materials and up to 3 exams each month. Your first month of exams is included with your membership fee! Starting in month two, you will pay a $300 monthly fee which will allow you to download review materials and take up to 3 exams each month. Based on this:
Complete 75% of the credits needed for a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree with Total Testing at a cost of $3050 when you complete 90 credits in 10 months.
How much is a full degree?
On average, a Total Testing student may complete their bachelor’s degree for under $8,900. Total Testing students receive a special tuition scout of $5700 for the final 30 credits. Total cost will depend on (1) the number of transfer credits a student has and (2) the speed in which a student completes the Total Testing portion.
How long will it take?
It could take as little as 10 months to complete 75% of the bacholor’s degree provided you take three exams per month. Then enroll at Daemen College to finish the rest!
Where do I get study materials for exams?
Total Testing provides review materials and ISBN numbers for recommended textbooks. Students can log into the Total Testing portal to access review materials, and they will need to purchase textbooks separately. Many students find that the review materials provided by Total Testing is sufficient for studying.
Can I take exams from any location?
Yes, provided you have reliable internet access.
What do I need to take exams?
You need a computer with a webcam, a government issued photo ID, a clear workspace with no papers, phones or other items near the computer, and the ability to work independently.

How does financial aid work?
There is no financial aid for the exam portion of your degree. However, when you enroll at Daemen College, eligible students can complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) which will determine eligibility to receive federal aid and scholarships for Daemen courses. New York students may also be eligible for TAP, Tuition Assistance Program, through NY State Aid.
Can I qualify for the American Opportunity tax credit?
There is no tax credit for the exam portion of the degree. However, once you enroll at Daemen College, students will receive a 1098-T form for tuition paid for Daemen College courses.
I am a veteran. Is this program right for me?
Yes. Daemen College has generous transfer credit policies for previous military training, military courses and/or other non-traditional learning environs which have been reviewed by the American Council on Education (ACE). The evaluator will follow the ACE recommendations in awarding such credit. Total Testing will help you enroll at Daemen to determine how your military credits will transfer. Then you can complete exams with Total Testing.
I am an active duty service member. Is this program right for me?
